Sports Club "Ašais"

Sports club "Ašais" was founded on 12 December 2008 and will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary on 12 December 2023.
The main mission of "Ašais" is the promotion of athletics and the education of young athletes. In the 15 years of its existence, the club has won almost 1100 awards in various competitions, including national championships, Baltic championships and various competitions all over Europe!
Sports Club "Ašais" has implemented 4 European Structural Fund projects. This enables people to enjoy sport and active recreation all year round in a safe and high quality environment! In the premises of the Sports Club, residents can attend health-boosting classes 24/7!
In 2022, we renewed the traditional race "Around Cēsis", and both the Latvian and Baltic Athletics Cross Country Championships have been held in Āraiši. The athletics series "Stadions 4 seasons" at the Cēsis Stadium has also gained popularity.
